Diverse Governance for Empowerment, organized by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) and funded by the HKEX Foundation, aims to support NGOs and social enterprises in enriching board diversity. This program also offers corporations a gateway to gain insights into social needs, ultimately creating meaningful social impact.
This initiative facilitates sustainable development and amplifies social impact in the long run by bridging sectors and promoting synergy among stakeholders.
Objectives
• Establish an efficient and reliable gateway for networking and engagement for creating opportunities of enriching board diversity of NGOs or SEs
• Empower NGOs, SEs and corporates to forge deeper connections through different initiatives on critical themes, including ESG, to equip both sectors with the necessary tools and knowledge for effective collaboration
• Build a sustainability community of multiple stakeholders to drive sustainable development in good governance
