The guidance note, prepared by the Charity Commission for England and Wales, provides guidance for charities that involve its service users in their board (e.g. self-help organizations). It lists out definitions of user involvement in NGO-setting and information on how to effectively manage a board with service users (e.g. handling conflict of interest).
