Learning Platform on NGO Governance and Management:
Seminar & Sharing Session on the Guidance on Data Breach Handling and Data Breach Notifications was held with success on 17 December 2024.
The increasingly widespread use of information technology, and the large amount of personal data held by organizations additionally, posing unprecedented challenges to the protection of personal data privacy. Recognizing NGOs' unique governance challenges and the importance of maintaining public trust, the Council invited the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (PCPD) to share insights about preventing and handling data breach incidents.
Participants engaged with critical strategies for preventing and handling data breach incidents, equip themselves with the knowledge essential for robust data breach handling. Resources and tools were provided to enhance NGOs' preparedness and response efforts.

- Discuss and examine data breach cases, to identify any insufficiencies or inadequacies
