The increasingly widespread use of information technology, and the large amount of personal data held by organizations additionally, posing unprecedented challenges to the protection of personal data privacy. Recognizing NGOs' unique governance challenges and the importance of maintaining public trust, the Council has invited the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (PCPD) to share insights about preventing and handling data breach incidents.
Participants will engage with critical strategies for preventing and handling data breach incidents, equip themselves with the knowledge essential for robust data breach handling. Resources and tools will be provided to enhance NGOs' preparedness and response efforts.

- Practical tips for handling data breach incident - Lessons from data breach cases
Highlights of the Sharing Session:
- Discuss and examine data breach cases, to identify any insufficiencies or inadequacies
- Devise a strategy to prevent the future recurrence of similar incidents
