Learning Platform on NGO Governance and Management:
Seminar & Sharing Session on Crisis Management for NGOs’ Governing Bodies was held with success on 1 March 2024.
The NGOs’ governing bodies including board members and senior management are the key stakeholders of governance and accountability of organizations. They have the responsibility over the whole range of powers, and should equip themselves with the skills of crisis management to handle crisis not only properly, but also in an effective and smart way. To raise the crisis sensitivity and facilitate the exchange amongst the governing bodies of NGOs, the Council has tailor-made a seminar and sharing session for participants as below:
Highlights of the Seminar:
- Prepare the step-by-step approach to crisis management: the CDE approach (Content, Delivery mode and Environment selection)
- Classify different stakeholders
- Explain proper positioning
