Governance Engagement Day – Connecting The Law Society of Hong Kong

Event Date

The Governance Connect Program provides a platform for HKCSS Agency Members and persons from various professions to connect. Participating agencies can meet with professionals who are passionate to serve the welfare sector and consider inviting them to be advisors or committee members. In the second round of the Program, NGOs were connected with lawyers from the Law Society of Hong Kong to serve as honorary legal advisors and support the legal needs on NGO’s governance. The Program has matched 8 NGOs with 8 lawyers in this round. The Governance Engagement Day, where NGOs and lawyers met for the first time, was held with success on 11 July 2019.
