Learning Platform on NGO Governance and Management:
Gerontech and Innovation Expo cum Summit (GIES) Guided Tour for NGO Directors was held with success on 22 November 2024.
The 8th "Gerontech and Innovation Expo cum Summit (GIES)" was held from 21 to 24 November at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, featuring over 220 exhibitors showcasing more than 900 gerontech products and applications from around the globe. The key thematic pavilions focused on "Telepractice x Health New Horizon", "Gerontechnology Testing Ground", "Age-friendly City", "Care Food Gourmet Plaza", and "Inclusive Tech for Kids”. Through diverse scenarios and interactive experiences, participants enjoyed the insights into the latest trends in innovation and technology.
The Council organized a guided tour for NGO directors during the GIES, aimed at fostering exchange among participating directors, exploring the new perspectives brought about by the integration of social service and technology, and exploring the sustainable development of various initiatives.
