Webinar - An Overview of the National Security Law from NGOs' Perspective

Event Date

The National Security Law (NSL) that came into effect on 30 June 2020 has undoubtedly casted deep impacts on the legal, social, economic, political and other systems of Hong Kong. In a nutshell, the 66-article law criminalizes four types of acts: secession, subversion, terrorism, and collusion with a foreign country or external elements to endanger national security. One year after its promulgation, the Council has invited 2 legal academics to share with the social service sector the implications of NSL on NGOs’ operations as legal entities. Details of the webinar as follows:
