A total of 17 participants from 11 agencies attended the Sharing Session held on 18 May 2019. Mr Cheung Kin Fai, Chairperson of the Rehabilitation Alliance Hong Kong, started the session with the development of self-help movement in Hong Kong, while Mr Ng Hang Sau, Senior Consultant of Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation, followed by suggesting to participants four key essences in looking for successors. Ms Portia Tsui from Hong Kong Federation of Youth as well as Ms Wong Ching Yee and Ms Wong Kam Fung from the Hong Kong Lupas Association shared the their organizations’ strategies for board succession. Participants had active discussion on the difficulties in recruiting board members and the challenges faced by new directors.
