Mr Benjamin Tang, Former Director of Audit and Chairman of Operations Review Committee of the ICAC, shared on the topic “Review of governance responsibilities, decision making and monitoring”. He shed light on the roles and composition of a board, as well as highlighting Audit Commission’s audit criteria on maintaining good governance. | ||
Mr Tai Keen-man, Vice-Chairman of Neighbourhood Advice-Action Council, shared the agency’s board handling, learning, and reflection on the recent financial crisis. | ||

Dr Stephen Fisher, board member of Unison and Hong Chi Association, shared his views on “Risks incurred by LSG and the monitoring role of NGO boards”. He suggested that governors should pay attention to three types of risks within the organization, namely financial risk, political risk, and reputational risk. | ||

Dr Ivan Yiu Tze-leung, Community Services Secretary of Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, spoke on his experience in financial risk management and the collaboration with governors. |
