Hong Kong NGO Governance Health Survey Debriefing Sessions

Event Date

The Council has received support from five family foundations to partner with ExCEL3 of The University of Hong Kong (HKU) as well as Governance and Management Excellence (GAME) for Public Benefit, to develop a self-assessment tool for measuring NGO governance health and collect data for landscape analysis.

At the end of January 2019, the research team will hold three debriefing sessions to introduce the governance health check tool, share the aggregate survey findings and explain how participating agencies should interpret the contents of their individual report. Details of the sessions as follows:

Date: 24 (Thu), 25 (Fri),  & 29 (Tue) January 2019 (3 sessions)
Time: 6:30pm-8:15pm
Venue: Duke of Windsor Social Service Building, 15 Hennessy Road, Wanchai
 
Session 1 (24/1) – to be conducted in Cantonese (materials in English)
For medium to large NGOs (with annual expenditure of over HK$20 million)

Session 2 (25/1) – to be conducted in Cantonese (materials in English)
For small to medium NGOs (with annual expenditure of HK$20 million or below)

Session 3 (29/1) – to be conducted in English
Open to all agencies

Target participants:

  • Board and committee members, agency heads and senior management of agencies participated in the survey
  • HKCSS Agency Members Board and committee members, agency heads
