Do you want to have professional advice on agency’s development or regulatory compliance? Is succession of the governing body a pressing issue of your agency? More and more NGOs are paying attention to these matters. When recruiting advisors and committee members, some organizations may go for their personal network, others want to get new channels.
The Governance Connect Program provides a platform for HKCSS Agency Members and persons from various professions to get to know each other. Through Governance Engagement Days, participating agencies can meet with professionals who are passionate to serve the welfare sector and may consider inviting them to be advisors or committee members, so as to strengthen their governance capacity for long-term development.
Governance Engagement Day – Connecting Rotarians
Rotarians with various professional background are experienced in areas including architecture, engineering, legal, accounting, finance, audit, investment, human resources, marketing, communications, risk management, information technology, etc. They have been actively serving local communities worldwide in the Rotary spirit of "Service Above Self".

Time: 6:30 – 8:30pm
Targets: HKCSS Agency Members
Quota: 10 agencies
Interested members please enroll online and state the professional expertise needed and areas of concern on or before 15 October 2018 (Monday).
Successful agencies will be informed by email by 19 October 2018 (Friday). Each agency should arrange two representatives from its board / senior management to join the Governance Engagement Day to be held on 6 December 2018 (Thursday) and network with participating Rotarians.
