Seminar on Staff Salary Policy & Practices for Non-subvented Organizations

Event Date

Welfare agencies are providing labour intensive human services so it is essential for NGOs to attract, motivate and retain the right employees to support their operation. In general, the lion’s share of agencies’ operating costs is usually on staffing. The board therefore should ensure appropriate staff salary policy and practices are in place for the long term sustainability of their organizations.

To provide occasions for NGO governors to discuss and exchange on how to set policies related to staff salaries and pay adjustment, the Council will arrange two seminars for non-subvented and subvented organizations respectively.
